Privacy
This notice covers two things: what happens to the information you send through the contact form on this site, and what we hold about you if you use the Complio product.
When you visit this site
What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your email address, your company, the subject you choose, and your message.
Why we collect it
To answer you. Nothing else. We do not sell it and we do not use it for anything else.
Who receives it
Complio receives your message by email. The form is delivered by Web3Forms, a form service that passes the message on to us.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it to answer you and to continue the conversation you started. Ask us to delete it and we will.
How we count visits
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It counts page views, and records the country the request came from, the address of the page and the site that linked to it. Nothing follows you to another site, nothing identifies you, and there is no advertising. The counting is done by PostHog on servers in the European Union, and the fonts are served from this site, so opening the page tells no other company that you were here.
When you use the product
Your account
If you have a Complio account we hold your name, your email address, your chosen interface language, and the record of what you did in the product. We hold this to give you access, to keep the audit record the service depends on, and to answer you when you ask us something.
How we measure use of the product
We count which screens are opened and which actions are taken, so we can see what is slow or confusing and improve it. Those counts carry an account reference, not your name or your email address. We do not record your screen and we do not replay your session. This is done by PostHog on servers in the European Union.
Content examined for a customer
The content the service examines, and the case records built from it, belong to the customer who asked for the examination. For that data the customer decides what happens and we act on their instructions. Ask that customer about it, or write to us and we will point you to them.
How long product data is kept
Each customer sets a retention period, one year unless they choose otherwise, and it is applied automatically. Evidence and case records are deleted when it expires, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Who we are
Complio provides the compliance service described on this site. Write to info@complio-marketing.com about anything in this notice.
Who else handles data for us
An identity provider, so you can sign in. A form service, for the contact form on this site. An analytics provider in the European Union, for the counting described above. A content collection service, to fetch the public posts the service examines. AI providers, to prioritise content for a person to review. We change AI providers from time to time; write to info@complio-marketing.com and we will tell you which ones we use today.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@complio-marketing.com and we will answer.
